Wichita Aero Club Relocates to New Office at 13th Street and 127th Street North

The Wichita Aero Club has announced that it will occupy a new office location at 12828 East 13th Street in Wichita beginning August 24. The new location is at the corner of 127th Street North and 13th Street, across from Crestview Country Club where the Aero Club has hosted its annual Golf Classic for the past six years. “It’s also less than two miles from Beech Field and just slightly further to Jabara Airport,” noted WAC President Dave Franson. “We were very pleased to learn of the availability of this space earlier this summer. Its proximity to the Textron Aviation site on the east side of Wichita, Jabara and to both K-96 and Kellogg make access to a significant number of our member companies, many of whom are located at or near our airports, easier. Even Eisenhower Airport and the west side of town are accessible via freeways, which will diminish commute times considerably.”

The new office also offers a large conference area on site. The move will entail a change in the telephone numbers for the Aero Club office. WAC President Dave Franson can now be reached by calling 316.641.5962. The Aero Club’s Office Manager, Pat Ritchey, will be available by dialing 316.665.2699. The e-mail addresses and the Wichita Aero Club’s website (www.wichitaaeroclub.org) will remain the same. Calls to the previous numbers will be answered and provided with the updated contact information for 30 days.
