Wichita Festivals, in partnership with the City of Wichita and the Aircraft Industry Community Panel (AICP), consisting of Airbus, Beechcraft, Bombardier Learjet, Cessna Aircraft Company and Spirit AeroSystems, will create a day of activities to celebrate the companies and workers who have helped make Wichita the Air Capital of the World.

The day will include events for people of all ages and interests. Come see and hear:
• Hot air balloons
• Flyovers of aircraft with local ties
• Static airplane displays
• Informational displays from aircraft manufacturers, suppliers and related organizations
• Battle of the corporate bands
Come take part in:
• Paper airplane contests
• Wing eating contest
• Rosie the Riveter look –a-like contest
• Children’s art and STEM make-and-take projects
The festivities end with a huge concert on the Kennedy Plaza stage featuring Joan Jett and the Blackhearts!
